BACK-TO-AFRICA Exclusive! Rarely revealed before! Read it here! Report of Mission to Africa a.k.a. Back-to-Africa / Printed by the Government Printer, Duke Street, Kingston - 1961
One of the most interesting documents in the history of the Ethiopianist and the Rastafari Movement. This is the original and authentic report, in full!
In 1961 the "Back to Africa" Mission, sponsored by the Jamaican Government had traveled inside 5 African States and had talks with the Head of each State about their migration policies and the possible movement of people from Jamaica to settle in those African countries.
3 delegates on the Mission were Rastafarian bredrens: Filmore Alveranga, Douglas Mack and Mortimer Planno. They wrote the Minority Report of Mission to Africa from page 15 to 23.
On page 22, they describe the meeting with H.I.M., the gifts they brought (Gold, incense and myrrh) and report that all the countries they visited (with the exception of Liberia) did not dispute the conception that H.I.M. is the Messiah…
It is our pleasure to reveal this very rare and extremely captivating document here, for the first time on RasTafari Groundation, a ministry of LOJSociety.
